 Barcode printers are a type of the printers. As we know that the printers are used for printing the softcopy on the papers etc. There are different types of printers for the different purposes and barcode printer is one of them.
It is used to print the barcode labels and tags which are attached to the physical object like the products in high shopping stores. 
We can see in our common life that when we go to a big store to buy some things then we see the products which contain a code on them that is called barcode and it is printed by the printer known as the barcode printer for the recognition of that object example of bar code is given below in image:
 The most barcode printer employees two different printing technologies.
1.Direct Thermal Printers:
                      Their printhead makes heat that is provided to a special kind of paper in which chemical reactions take place then it is converted to the black automatically. 
2.Thermal Transfer Printers:  
                       They also produce a heat but for the purpose to melt a waxy ribbon on the paper then that ribbon is ran over which contains the barcode that code is also printed. But this printer is less useful then the former because in sunlight its code gets expose.  
Bare code printer are designed differentially for the different markets they are usually long life and very much useful too. For the offices desktop barcode printers are usually used because they are more reasonable for this purpose.Barcode printers are very much useful in products recognition.
