1 Hydraulic Press

Introduction:

          Hydraulic press is a machine used to lift the heavy load with the expenditure of  very less force. The first hydraulic press was invented by a scientist of England namely Joseph Bramah. Therefor its is also called Bramah press. It is very useful machine and a very prominent source of lifting the heavy loads e.g. vehicles etc with the very less energy.
Working:

• Hydraulic press works on the principle of the Pascal's law. 
• The definition of the Pascal's law is "When pressure is exerted on a liquid so the liquid transmits it equally in all direction". 
• As we know that hydraulic press is filled with the water and when a pressure is applied on the water through the small piston and then water transmits this pressure to all directions so it is also applied on the  due to which the large piston move upwards and if a load is placed on the piston it also moves upwards.

Used Of Hydraulic Press:

• Hydraulic Press is used to compress raw cotton and cloths into bails that are easier to transport.
• It is used at service stations to lift cars for washing them.
• The brakes of some vehicles work on the hydraulic press's principle. 
• It is used for swords making because it provides a flat space for the the raw materials used to make the swords. 
• It is used in the process of manufacturing of the fat free cocoa powder. Because for making the cocoa powder a liquid namely chocolate liquor that is obtained from the cocoa beans by pressing them through the hydraulic press.
• Apart from it different forms of hydraulic press are used  in every industry. 
• Hydraulic press is used to convert the metals object in the sheets of metals.
• Hydraulic press is used for thinning the glass.
• It is also is used in the cosmetic industry for the formation of the medicines e.g. tablets. 

Apart from it there are a lot of other used of the hydraulic press.It is really the power of the industries. Without this machine the industries wouldn't be progressed as there are now progressing. Hydraulic press is such a machine which indicates the original help of the science to the mankind because through this machine we not only save the energy but also save our worthy time. 
Types Of Hydraulic Press:
Following are some important types of Hydraulic press.

• Arbor Presses:

                        Arbor presses are used in tasks like piercing holes into metals, stamping, flatten metals,tearing and marking inscriptions etc.

• Laminating Presses: 

                        Laminating presses are consisted of two openings called plates, one opening is used for heating and second for cooling. So, these presses are used for the lamination of the id cards, books and even many other things.

• C-frame Presses:

                        These presses have C shaped frame. They are available with extra features e.g. wheels and screw gauges. They are used for tasks like straightening, drawing and assembling work etc.

• Pneumatic Presses: 

                     These presses are used for compressing the air and they are usually used in cars and air crafts brakes system. But they are not much powerful as the other types of hydraulic press are.Their industrial uses including assembling, drawing and punching etc.

• Power Presses.

                    There are two types of power presses on the basis of clutch. The first is full revolution which do not disturbed in any case and the second is the part revolution which is disturbed in revolution.Power presses important form of hydraulic press are used in heavy industries which require the heavy machines and equipment for their tasks. 

• Assembly Presses:

                    These type of hydraulic presses use a great power to assemble and maintain the different machine parts.

• H-Frame Presses:

                    They are so named because of their H shape frame they perform more then one tasks which are performed by the other types of hydraulic press.
